The Bontrager Velocis Womens Road Cycling Shoe is a high performance road shoe with a carbon composite sole and precise fit of the Boa system. Designed for the committed cyclist the stiffness and ergonomic fit of the Velocis gives you more power from every pedal stroke. The womens version of the Velocis uses all the same technology as the mens shoe but it has been built to better fit womens feet. Although the Velocis is designed to perform its also a shoe you can use without killing your feet. Bontrager rate the stiffness of the Velocis at 10 out of 14, compared to a full 14 out of 14 for the pro level XXX shoe. Having a small amount of flex in the sole makes the Velocis easier to live with. It also comes with plenty of ventilation to stop your feet boiling on long summer rides.
