The 2022 Whyte 403 v3 Youth Hardtail Mountain Bike in Matt Granite takes Whytes legendary hardtail mountain bike design and shrinks it down to a 26 wheel size recommended for riders between 135 and 152cm tall.Whyte have downsized everything except the performance. Their Junior and Youth bikes really are a smaller version of their high performing adult bike but without a lot of the compromises you often get on kids bikes. On the 403 & 405, a specific lightweight tubeset - not just sawn-off versions of adult pipes has been used to keep the bike light so it shrinks climbs and puts a tailwind into every ride. Whyte have also downsized their maximum confidence Trail geometry and fitted air sprung forks that properly work for lighter pilots so their rides are full of thrills not spills.
