A stretchy neoprene scree guard keeps the foot steady and secure inside the shoe when hammering on the pedals and an extra Velcro strap is used for additional retention over the top of the foot. Underneath the shoes feature a new proprietary Shimano rubber outsole with an original compound and tread pattern that maximises grip and durability. The sole also features a new extended pedal channel that provides a stable shoe to pedal platform when not clipped in as well as cleat position and adjustment range with more rearward range that allows you to move the cleats right back underneath the arch of the foot.
