Thanks to the Direct Mount design of the Hope Spiderless Chainring there is no requirement for a seperate spider, meaning that vital weight can be saved without a loss in performance, while also enabling you to run a broader range of smaller chainring sizes without any hassle! The narrow/wide chainring design has been implemented to help retain the chain without the need for a chain device, it also helps produce a quieter drivetrain with less drag.
